As Republic Day approaches, a number of safety measures are being taken by the various states in the country. Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport will have no flight operations for nearly two hours on January 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 26, as per a notice to airmen (NOTAM) issued by the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
Being the national capital, Delhi takes special precautions as people from all over visit the city to be a part of the glorious R-Day celebrations. This year too, special measures have been taken considering the celebrations.
