HIGHLIGHTS:
- Travel by train from Delhi to Sawai Madhopur (the nearest railway station to the Ranthambore National Park).
- Enjoy morning and afternoon Game Drives in search of the Royal Bengal Tiger over 2 days at Ranthambore National Park.
- While exploring Ranthambore National Park also visit the 10th century Ranthambore Fort which lies within the park with its ancient temples, mosques, pavilions, crocodile-infested lakes and crumbling moss covered burial tombs.
- Drive from Sawai Madhopur to Barli and stay in an 18th century fort called Barli Fort. Spend your time taking a tour of the fort, exploring the village or simply relaxing by the pool.
- Drive to the ancient hills of Jawai where locals and Leopards have co-existed in harmony for centuries. No one here has been attacked by a leopard for over 150 years now. Head out on an afternoon jeep safari in search of the big cats that live in such a jarring proximity to humans.
- Enjoy 2 days of game safaris to spot the leopards. Also visit the 15th century Kumbhalgarh Fort which has the second largest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China and the intricately carved 15th century Jain temples at Ranakpur.
- Drive to Udaipur to catch a flight to Mumbai. Walk around the Gateway of India & Colaba area and enjoy the sunset at the harbour.
- Wake up at the crack of dawn to experience the rarely seen early morning bustle of Mumbai, a huge metropolis and its industrious people rising up to meet another busy day.
- Take the afternoon flight from Mumbai to Diu, the closest airport to the Gir National Park, the only home of the Asiatic Lion that once prowled from the Middle East to India, but now survives only in Gir.
- Enjoy morning and afternoon Game Drives in search of the Asiatic Lion for next 2 days. Another amazing story of the peaceful co-existence of humans and the big cats with minimal conflict is in Gir.
- Drive to Diu to catch a flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival, transfer to the international terminal for the onward flight.
